This is the broken headstone of Montgomery Jaap (1764-1841), in Dalgety in Fife in Scotland. She married Thomas Muir in 1783 and amongst her children was Walter, born in 1786. Walter Muir was a very early Mormon convert, who emigrated to Cedar City, Lyon, Utah. He travelled from Liverpool, England on the "Sailor Prince" along with 311 other Mormon converts, which included his wife, 7 children, son-in-law, daughter-in-law and 4 grandchildren.
